A successful event held on August 1, 2024 at SHADE honoring Mark Hashem and his contribution to transforming the Hocking Building into a 40-unit rental housing project opening November 2024! We had a great turn out with delicious food provided by local businesses as well as a successful silent auction with artwork donated by the Downtown Art Center and Mark Chia to help raise money for SHADE Institute. We hope to continue to support and host events which promote our mission to advance sustainability and design equity in the built environment.
