IMPORTANT NEWS: SHADE recently learned about the City's interest in the Market Kiosks developed during last year's Summer Institute (2015). The proposed amendment to Bill 15 will implement the design to re-purpose existing trellis columns on Sun Yat-Sen and College Walk Malls to create market kiosks.
The kiosk was designed by reusing the existing trellis columns lining the street. They could potentially be home to many local street vendors and businesses within the Chinatown community, which will stimulate economic growth and community interaction.
